Up for sale is beautiful & interesting American Ingersoll open face pocket watch, comes with a original brass square outer traveller's case and paper dial, pin-lever escapement, accuracy not timed, watch is in running condition but a little bit sluggish and the hour/minute hand are loose so it may needs cleaning & adjustment, SOLD-AS-IS item!

DESCRIPTION:
Year : C. 1900s
Size : Pocket watch: 50 mm, excluding stem / Outer square case: 54mm x 54mm
Inner Case : Chrome / base metal, comes with original paper, damaged/faded coating, dirty with stains/marks and scratches.
Outer square case : Brass, very dirty inside, full of scratches and stains.
Crystal : Plastic with lots of scratches.
Dial : White paper dial with few damages, dirty with lots of stains, discolouration. The hour & minute hand may need some adjustment for sometimes it may touch each other or touch with the uneven surface of the paper dial. Printed "INGERSOLL CROWN". Beautiful blue steel hands set(Not original). Black Arabic numerals with outer minutes scale and subsidiary seconds dial.
Movement : Stem wind stem set, typical dollar watch gilt movement with pin-lever escapement, watch is in running condition but a little bit sluggish, the hour/minute hand are loose so it may need cleaning & adjustment, winding function working fine, balance staff is OK, dirty with stains/marks and scratches, slightly oxidize. Signed "38542303 KOBT. H. INGERSOLL & BRO NEW YORK MADE IN USA PATENTED JUNE 29.09 MAY 24.10 NOV 1212 JAN 29.01 APR IL.05 JUNE 29.09 ".
Overall a descent pocket watch and believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after replacement of the hour, minute and seconds hand.
