NostromoΒ was a commercial towing vessel, registration number 1809246(09), was a modified Lockmart CM-88B Bison M-Class star freighter owned and operated by theΒ Weyland-YutaniΒ Corporation. TheΒ NostromoΒ was assigned to investigate a warning signal fromΒ LV-426. There they discover the Alien species that became the subject of one of the greatest science fiction franchises of all time. The crew, captained byΒ Arthur Dallas, is ultimately overtaken by the Xenomorph andΒ Ellen RipleyΒ must destroy theΒ NostromoΒ in a last-ditch effort to kill the Alien on board.
