Up for sale is beautiful American Elgin 2 tone open face PW, lever escapement, gold tone bezel and back cover shows a lots of wear, watch is in running condition but accuracy not timed, SOLD-AS-IS item! Please refer to all the photos/descriptions.

DESCRIPTION:
Year : C. 1921
Size : 50 mm, excluding stem.
Case : Screw in type 2 tone case, gold tone bezel, back cover stamped "Mina REGISTERED GOLD FILLED" and numbered "1781397", dirty with stains/marks and scratches, the gold tone bezel & back cover shows a lots of wear and faded. .
Crystal : Glass - seems NOT original and was glued to the bezel.
Dial : White enamel dial with hairline, crack dial, few chips, dirty with stains. Beautiful blue steel hands set(Faded?). Black Arabic numerals with outer minutes scale and subsidiary seconds dial.
Movement : Stem wind stem set, beautiful damascened movement, lever escapement with 7 jewels, running condition but accuracy not timed, compensation balance with blue steel hairspring, balance staff is OK, oxidation at the regulator, signed "ELGIN NAT'L WATCH CO. U.S.A. 26533379".
Overall a descent pocket watch and believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after replacement with a suitable glass.
