Up for sale is beautiful silver open face PW, dial signed ROTHERHAMS with lever escapement movement, watch is in running condition but accuracy not timed, SOLD-AS-IS item! Please refer to all the photos/video/descriptions.

DESCRIPTION:
Year : 19th Century
Size : 48mm, excluding stem.
Case : Sterling silver, engine tuning with vacant cartouche in the middle, it has a hinged cuvette & back, snap bezel and all works fine, case closure shut tightly, cuvette & back stamped "P 868" with maker's mark "JR" in lozenge and full hallmarks, dirty with stains, normal wear and marks.
Crystal : Glass with numerous scratches.
Dial : White enamel dial with few dirt and stains, few chips at centre. Gold tone spade hands(the minute hand is loose and seems NOT original?), blue steel seconds hand. Black Roman numerals with outer scale and subsidiary seconds dial.
Movement : Stem wind pin set full plate gilt movement, lever escapement with 5 jewels, marked "186773 Rotherhams LONDON", running condition but accuracy not timed, compensation balance, balance staff is OK, dirty with scratches and shows oxidation.
Overall a beautiful & descent pocket in running condition, believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after cleaning and replacement of the minute hand and glass.
