Up for sale is a beautiful silver open face pocket watch, lever fusee escapement movement, watch is in running condition but accuracy not timed, may need minor adjustment/cleaning, a SOLD-AS-IS item! Please refer to all the photos/video.

DESCRIPTION:
Year : circa 1864
Size : Approximately 47mm, excluding stem.
Case : Sterling silver case with vacant cartouche in the middle, hinged bezel & back, full English hallmarks and marked "9597", rigid and solid case measure about 1.5cm thick with glass, all hinges, catches & closure shut tightly and are all working fine. Case is worn, dirty with marks and numerous scratches.
Crystal : Glass.
Dial : White enamel dial with gold spade hands seems to be original, blue steel seconds hand. Black Roman numerals with minute track and subsidiary seconds dial. Few hairline, chips/crack at 12 o'clock position, few dirt with stains.
Movement : Key wind key set lever fusee in running conditions but a little bit sluggish may need cleaning, three arm balance with blue steel hairspring, diamond end stone, comes with original gilt dust cover. Movement signed "T.J. MERCER London N° 9597". Dirty with stains and marks. (Does NOT comes with key)
Overall a beautiful & descent pocket watch, believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after cleaning.
