DESCRIPTION:
Year :Β circa 1864
Size :Β Approximately 47mm, excluding stem.
Case :Β Sterling silver case withΒ vacant cartouche in the middle,Β hinged bezel & back,Β full English hallmarks and marked "9597", rigid and solid case measure about 1.5cm thick with glass,Β all hinges, catches &Β closure shut tightly andΒ are all working fine.Β Case is worn, dirty with marks and numerous scratches.Β
Crystal :Β Glass.
Dial :Β White enamel dialΒ with gold spade hands seems to be original, blue steel seconds hand. Black Roman numerals with minute track and subsidiary seconds dial.Β Few hairline, chips/crack at 12 o'clock position, few dirt with stains.
Movement :Β Key wind key set lever fusee in running conditions butΒ a little bit sluggish may need cleaning,Β three armΒ balance with blue steel hairspring,Β diamond end stone, comes with original gilt dust cover. Movement signed "T.J. MERCER London NΒ° 9597".Β Dirty with stains and marks.Β (DoesΒ NOTΒ comes with key)
Overall a beautiful & descent pocket watch, believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after cleaning.
