DESCRIPTION:
Year : 20th Century
Size : Approx. 50mm, excluding stem.
Case : Plain polish gold filled open face, it has a hinged inner, back & bezel and all works fine, case closure shut tightly. Back cover marked "STAR WATCH CASE CO LUDINGTON, MICH U.S.A. 1922718", cuvette marked "THIS CASE GUARANTEED TEN CARAT GOLD FILLED AND TO WEAR TEN YEARS 1922718".
Crystal : Glass.
Dial : White enamel dial, clean appearance with 1-2 very faint hairline, few dirt and stains. Original blue steel hands set. Black Arabic numerals with outer minutes scale and subsidiary seconds dial.
Movement : Stem wind and set, 7 jewels damascened movement, lever escapement, running condition but accuracy not timed, compensation balance with blue steel hairspring, balance staff is OK, signed "SWISS MADE 7 JEWELS". Few dirt/stain and oxidation.
Overall a descent pocket watch and believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after cleaning and oiling.
