C. 20th CENTURY | LONGINES | LEVER ESCAPEMENT MOVEMENT
Up for sale is beautiful high-end Longines lever escapement movement, 17 Jewels with swan neck regulator, adjusted to 5 positions, pendant set /wind, the balance is in running condition but accuracy not timed, certainly needs cleaning, comes with original dial and winding stem and crown(Broken), and 2 bevel pinion included, a SOLD-AS-IS item! DESCRIPTION:
Year : Circa 20th Century
Size : Approximately 39.5mm, excluding stem.
Dial : Original white enamel dial, crack & chips at 7-10, 25-27, 45-54 minutes position, few dirt with marks. Black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial. Signed "SHREVE TREAT & EACRET"
Movement : Swiss 3/4 nickel bridge plate with damascening pattern, stem wind stem set lever escapement, compensation balance with blue steel hairspring, diamond endstone, caped jewels. Signed "LONGINES W. CO. SWISS 5 ADJ. 17 JEWELS 3055521 SHREVE TREAT & EACRET SAN FRANCISCO 18.79AB(O?)"
• Dirty with scuff marks and scratches, few oxidation.
• Balance wheel and staff is OK and is in running condition but certainly needs cleaning.
• Comes with original winding stem and crown but they are separated.
• Also included 2 bevel pinion for attaching to the clutch wheel (Not sure if these 2 pinion are original or if it works)
Overall this is a beautiful & descent movement, believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after cleaning.
