LOT of 2 SWISS POCKET WATCH  |  LEVER ESCAPEMENT

• MIDO NICKEL OPEN FACE

Up for sale is lot of 2 beautiful open face pocket watch - Bulova & Mido, the Mido's swank neck regulator and Bulova's crystal is not original, both are in running conditions but accuracy not timed, good for restoration or project, sold-as-is items.

DESCRIPTION:

• BULOVA :

Year : Circa 1900s

Size : 43mm, excluding stem.

Case : 10K Rose gold plated, engraved front bezel with plain polish back, inner back cover marked "BULOVA 10K ROLLED GOLD PLATE NEW YORK 5512622", dirty with stains, few oxidation and scratches.

Crystal : Plastic - not original and seems it was glued.

Dial : Champagne gold tone metal dial with few hairline, few dirt with stains. Original gold tone hands/second hand. Black Arabic numerals with outer minutes scale and subsidiary seconds dial.

Movement : Swiss 17AH, stem wind stem set, lever escapement with 17 jewels, running condition but accuracy not timed, compensation balance with steel hairspring, balance staff is OK, signed "BULOVA WATCH C° 17 SEVENTEEN JEWELS SWISS UNADJUSTED", dirty with scratches and cleaning marks.

Believe that it will be a beautiful gem after adding back a suitable glass.

• MIDO :

Year : Circa 1900s

Size : 42mm, excluding stem.

Case : Plain polish nickel open face, inner back cover marked "MIDO 333263", dirty with stains, few oxidation and scratches.

Crystal : Glass.

Dial : White enamel dial, big chips at 10 o'clock position, hairlines/cracks, few dirt with stains. Signed "CHRONOMETRE Mido SWISS MADE" Original blue steel hour/second hand. Black Arabic numerals with outer black minutes scale and subsidiary seconds dial.

Movement : Damaskeen nickel lever escapement with 15 jewels, stem wind stem set, running condition but accuracy not timed, compensation balance with steel hairspring, balance staff is OK, signed "MIDO 彌陀 SWISS MADE FIFTEEN 15 JEWELS FOUR ADJ", the swank neck regulator is NOT original, dirty with scratches and cleaning marks.

Believe that it will be a beautiful gem after restoration of dial and adding back a suitable swank neck regulator.

Both are SOLD-AS-IS items, what you see in the photos is what you get, good for parts, projects or restoration.
