Lot of 4 Swiss/American gold plated/Nickel open face pocket watch, 3 are in run & stop condition and 1 is NOT working, all need repair or cleaning/oiling, SOLD-AS-IS item good for project/parts or restoration.

DESCRIPTION:

1. WATERBURY WATCH CO. :

Year : Circa 1890

Size : 53mm, excluding stem.

Case : Plain polish nickel open face, snap on case back & bezel and case closure shut tightly, dirty with stains, few oxidation and scratches.

Crystal : Glass with numerous scratches.

Dial : White enamel dial, very very faint hairlines, few dirt with stains, signed "WATERBURY WATCH CO. U.S.A" Original blue steel spade hour/second hand. Black Arabic numerals with outer black minutes scale and subsidiary seconds dial.

Movement : Stem wind stem set, 2 jewels gilt 3/4 plate duplex movement, marked "TRADE MARK The Trump Waterbury U.S.A. Series I", run & stop condition - runs through ends of spring in still position but stop in some position), accuracy not timed, balance staff is OK,  few dirt with scratches and cleaning marks.

Believe that this will be a beautiful gem after minor repair/service.

2. DUMA / ROSKOPF :

Year : Circa 1900s

Size : 52.5mm, excluding stem.

Case : Plain polish nickel open face, snap on bezel with hinged case back and case closure shut tightly, case back marked "DUMA" and logo, dirty with stains, few oxidation and scratches.

Crystal : Glass with numerous scratches.

Dial : White enamel dial, big chips/cracks at 5 o'clock position, lots of hairlines, dirty with stains, signed "DUMA ECHAPPEMENT ROSKOPF". Typical Roskopf  hands(Hour hand show signs of repair work). Black roman numerals with outer black minutes scale and red color 24 hours.

Movement : Stem wind pin set, pin-lever movement, marked "PEPASSEE LWSECOND REPASADO DE SEGUNDA MANO", NOT working due to spring broken and the damaged escape lever(MISSING the pallet pin), balance staff is OK,  very dirty with scratches and cleaning marks.

3. ANONYMOUS(CENTER SECONDS CHRONOGRAPH): 

Year : Circa 1900s

Size : 53mm, excluding stem.

Case : Plain polish nickel open face, snap on bezel with hinged cuvette and back, all case closure shut tightly, dirty with stains, few oxidation and scratches.

Crystal : Glass with numerous scratches.

Dial : White enamel dial, big chips/cracks at 3 & 9 o'clock position, lots of hairlines, dirty with stains, signed "SUPERIOR CENTRE SECONDS SPECIALLY EXAMINED SWISS MADE PATENT", MISSING the centre seconds hand.  Gold tone spade hands, black roman numerals with outer minutes scale.

Movement : Stem wind pin set, pin-lever movement, marked "MADE IN SWITZERLAND DEPOSE PATENT", run & stop condition - run strong when dial in facing down position but stop/sluggish when dial facing up), balance staff is OK, very dirty with stains and scratches,  the hacking mechanism is still working fine but MISSING the hacking pin.

4. YORK : 

Year : Circa 1900s

Size : 52mm, excluding stem.

Case : Engraved gold plated open face, screw in bezel & case back, all case closure shut tightly, inner marked "DERBY ROLLED PLATE M.W.C. CO. CASE MADE IN CANADA 4072961", dirty with stains, few oxidation and scratches.

Crystal : Glass with small cracks.

Dial : White enamel dial, few chips edge of dial, faint hairlines, few dirt with stains. Signed "YORK". Original blue steel hour/minute hand, MISSING the seconds hand. Black Arabic numerals with outer black minutes scale and subsidiary seconds dial.

Movement : 15 jewels damaskeen nickel lever escapement, stem wind stem set, marked "3 ADJUSTMENTS 15 JEWELS SWISS MADE", run & stop condition - running strong when fully wind but sometimes it stop, accuracy not timed, compensation balance and balance staff is OK,  few dirt with scratches and stains. the winding/setting hands mechanism is not working properly - it can not reset to winding function after setting hands so you has to pull & push back the stem serval times to make it works. 

Believe that this will be a beautiful gem after minor repair/service.
