Omega Vintage Gold Plated Automatic Date Wrist Watch

Up for sale is a is beautiful vintage Swiss Omega automatic date wristwatch, case & band is 20 micron gold plated on top with stainless steel back, watch is in running condition, about 40-60 seconds loss after running for 24 hours, it has been store in my cabinet for 30 years and was not serviced, so it may need minor adjustment and a complete overhaul is recommended, a SOLD-AS-IS item! Size : Ø34.5mm, excluding crown & lugs.

Functions : Time, quick date, centre seconds.

Case : 20 microns gold plated with stainless steel screw back, case back marked "WATERPROOF", inner case back marked "OMEGA WATCH C°  FAB. SUSSE SWISS MADE  CARRURE-LUNETTE PLAQUE OR G 20 MICRONS FOND ACIER INOXYDABLE", dirty with stains and wear, numerous scratches, the rubber O-ring sealing gasket is MISSING(When I open the case back the o-ring was broken into pieces so I throw it away)

Band/Strap : Original Omega 558 expansion band, 20 microns gold plated on top and stainless steel back, marked "558 28 0/1 PAT. 896575  TOP GOLD PLATED L 20 MICRONS STAINLESS STEEL BACK  FIXO-FLEX-S" shows a lots of  wear & numerous scratches.

Crystal : Plastic, scratches on surface.

Dial : Champagne dial, raised Omega logo with baton index with outer minute division, aperture for date function, marked "OMEGA  AUTOMATIC  GENÉVE  SWISS MADE", few dirt with stains.

Movement : Omega calibre 565 - beautiful copper plated 24 Jewels automatic date movement, balance running strong, date function works fine, signed "OMEGA WATCH C° SWISS  TWENTY-FOUR 24 JEWELS  29857781  565". All function works fine and smooth but there is some spacing between the crown and case(Photo #6) so it may need some adjustment, few dirt with stains/scuff marks.

Accuracy: Roughly loss 40-60 seconds after running for 24 hours.

Service: NOT service/oiling for over 30 years.

Overall a beautiful vintage Omega wristwatch, believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after cleaning/adjustment.
