Swiss Gun Metal Open Face Chronograph Pocket Watch Need REPAIR

Up for sale is beautiful gun metal case single button column wheel chronograph pocket watch with beautiful enamel dial, unsigned lever escapement chronograph movement, watch is in running condition but chronograph hands can not reset to correct position and the setting hand function can only work in anti-clockwise direction, so it may need minor adjustment and repair, accuracy not timed - a SOLD-AS-IS item, good for restoration!

DESCRIPTION:

Year : 20th Century

Size : 52mm, excluding stem.

Case : Plain polish gun metal open face, it has a hinged cuvette, back & snap on bezel and all works fine, case closure shut tightly, cuvette marked "11  319685  2" & back marked "11  DEPOSE ACIER GARANTI  319685  2", few rusting and oxidation, dirty with stains, repair marks, small dent & wear.

Crystal : Plastic, seems it was glued to the bezel.

Dial : Beautiful white enamel dial with multi-color numbering - few dirt, stains & hairline, cracks/chips and damages on edge of dial, the minute register hand may fall out easily after reset so it may need minor adjustment. Spade hands & blue steel seconds hand. Black Arabic numerals with outer scale and subsidiary seconds dial, signed "CHRONOÈTRE-CHRONOGRAPHE".

Movement : Single button column wheel chronograph, stem wind stem set gilt lever movement, 17 jewels, running condition but accuracy not timed, compensation balance, balance staff is OK and works fine, marked "DEPOSE". All chronograph function including start/stop /reset seems in working condition but the the minute register hand and centre second hand can not reset to right position, and the setting hand function can only work in anticlockwise direction and seems a little bit tight, certainly it need repair/adjustment. 

Overall a beautiful chronograph pocket in running condition, believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after minor  repair/adjustment.
