Up for sale is beautiful vintage J.W. Benson ladies wristwatch, 9ct solid gold case with beautiful gold plated bracelet, watch is in running condition, about 30-60 seconds gain(fast) after running for 24 hours, brought it over 30 years and it was NOT serviced so a complete overhaul is recommended, a SOLD-AS-IS item! Functions : Time only.
Case : 9ct Solid Rose Gold with 9ct hallmarks, signed "J.W.B 9 375 310470 2016". Comes with a beautiful gold plated bracelet. Dirty with stains/scuff marks, numerous scratches.
Crystal : Plastic, numerous scratches on surface.
Dial : Metallic sunburst dial with arabic numerals index and outer minute division, signed "J.B. BENSON LONDON MADE", very dirty with few stains/marks and paint off.
Movement : 15 J Lever escapement, 3 adjustments, running in good condition, signed "ADJUSTED SWISS MADE 15 JEWELS", slightly dirty with few scuff marks.
Accuracy: About 30-60 seconds gain(Fast) after running for 24 hours(About 12 turns for 1st winding and 10 turns for 2nd winding).
Service: NOT service/oiling for over 30 years.
Overall a very beautiful vintage J.W. Benson wristwatch, believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after cleaning/oiling/adjustmant and overhaul.
