Swiss Vintage Invictor Chronograph Wrist Watch Need Service

Up for sale is beautiful vintage Invictor round button chronograph housed with a Landeron Cal. 48 movement, watch is in running condition but gain about 10-30 seconds after running for 24 hours, minor issue for the centre seconds and it has been store in my cabinet and was not serviced for 30 years, so it may need minor adjustment and a complete overhaul is recommended, a SOLD-AS-IS item! DESCRIPTION:

Year : 1950-1959

Ref. N°. : 

Size : Ø35mm, excluding crown & lugs.

Functions : Time, chronograph, flyback centre seconds.

Case : Beautiful stainless steel with round buttons, case back marked "32658", inner case back marked "SWISS MADE  SEELAND WATCH Co SWISS  STAINLESS STEEL BACK", dirty with stains and wear, numerous scratches and repair marks.

 

Band/Strap : Aftermarket genuine leather.

Crystal : Plastic.

 

Dial : Original dial with chronograph markings, original hand set, signed "INVICTOR  SWISS" - very dirt with lot of stains, oxidation and paint off.

 

Movement : Landeron caliber 48 cam switch chronograph 17 Jewels lever escapement, balance is in running conditions. Signed "SEVENTEEN JEWELS   SWISS  UNADJUSTED   INVICTOR LTD". Chronograph function works fine but the centre seconds does not return to 12 o'clock position and the the centre seconds will stop after 12- 15 minutes, so it may need some cleaning, few dirt with stains/scuff marks.

Accuracy: Roughly gain 10-30 seconds after running for 24 hours. 

Service: NOT service/oiling for over 30 years.

 

Overall a very beautiful vintage Invictor chronograph wristwatch, believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after cleaning/adjustment.
