Jagd Panzer Pz Jg VI JAGD TIGER ( Sd.Kfz 186s)

This tank was officially known as the Jagdpanzer VI, "Jagdtiger" Sd. Kfz. 186S. It had had more superior armament than the Elephant tank; and it had heavy armor and a good performance for a hunting tank. It suffered a lack of maneuverability and only a few of these tank killers were in action with Tank Hunter detachments of the German Army. TheHunting Tiger was developed as a prime anti-tank weapon. 

Previous strategy had required the use of captured equipment along with German armor designs. As Allied tanks added thicker armor plate, German tank destroyers mounted heavier, armor piercing weapons. As Allied guns grew more deadly, the German Tank Hunters were forced to shield themselves behind reinforced hulls, improvised armor, and side skirting. The Hunting Tiger was developed to give the six man crew this required protection plus the fire power they needed to knock out Allied and Russian Tanks.

Up for sale is a rare and beautiful vintage 1/35 German Hunting Tiger motorised model kit, kit comes with metal gear box, 1 commander figure and 2 x rubber track, 1st release on 1967 manufacture in Oshika(小鹿), truly a highly collectible & beautiful vintage kit from early Tamiya.

• Made in JAPAN.

• Condition : Open box, unassembled.

• Box is in POOR condition - yellowed box, dirty with stains, shelf wear and dent, scratches & scuff marks.

• Content : Complete, all parts are still in sealed bags - unopened and untouched, minor scratches/damages on plastic bag and some parts are separated from the sprue.

• Kit comes with metal parts, gearbox, RE-26 motor, all are kept in factory sealed plastic bags.

• Comes with 2 set of rubbers tracks(total 4 pcs) in good condition.

• Powered by one RE-26 motor.(Included)

• Decals in very poor conditions and still sealed in plastic bag - dirty and yellowed, not sure if it is working fine, so buyers should put this into your consideration. (Photo #8)

• Instruction manual(Japanese version) - yellowed and dirty with stains.

• The AAA-size battery appears in all photos are just for scale only, NOT included in this sales.
