The Apollo 11 launched from the Kennedy Space Centre in July 1969 on board a Saturn V rocket to send the first humans to the moon's surface. Not only did the mission leave historic footprints on the lunar surface, it also gathered important samples and placed various scientific instruments. At the end of the 8-day mission, the 3 astronauts safely returned to earth.
Tamiya is also re-releasing the Apollo Lunar Spacecraft after 40 years since its first release to celebrate the 40th year anniversary of this historic event.
【 About the Model 】
★This is a plastic 1/70 scale assembly kit of the Apollo spacecraft. ★In addition to the Command, Service, and Lunar modules, the Saturn V rocket's frontal part and two display bases for the Lunar and Service modules are included. ★The cone-shaped Command Module can be separated from the Service module. Clear transparent plastic plate is included to depict glass areas. ★The Lunar Module has detachable ascent and descent stages and can be docked with the Command Module. ★Two astronaut figures and an American flag are included for added enjoyment.

Up for sale is a rare & beautiful 1/70 Apollo spacecraft model kit, this is a 2009 re-release limited edition which celebrate the 40th anniversary, comes with both command module & service module with lots of detailed plastic injection parts, gold aluminium foil and clear plastic plates for windows have been newly added to this kit too! truly a exceptional awesome kit made by Tamiya.
This kit is a re-release of the original 1969 product. While it has the same parts and instructions, the motor and battery terminals for the motorisation mechanism are not included. Refer to the supplementary instructions when assembling.

• Box is in fair-good condition - dirty with stains, yellowed box, few scratches & scuff marks, minor shelf wear & dent.
• Content : Complete, all parts are still sealed in plastic bags, scratches and damage on dirty plastic bag, all parts are still intact with the sprue, please refer to the photos.
• Kit includes both command module & service module.
• 2 Astronauts and 2 display stand included.
• 2 Instruction manuals included(the original 1969 version and 2009 supplementary version) - dirty with stains.
• Tamiya does not include the motor and battery terminals.
• Decals seems in good condition and still kept it factory sealed plastic bags with protective cover.
• The AAA-size battery appears in photo #3 is just for scale only, NOT included in this sales.
• A very impressive and beautiful kit that is nicely reproduced. A must have item for both model builder and collector!
